At the Ball Diamonds

Eli had some stuff to take care of at the ball diamonds so he brought Loreli out for a bit while I was working...She loves being out there!

Happy 4th of July!!!

It was a great holiday weekend….but back at it today…UGH!!!

Friday after I got off work Lynne called and wanted to run to Wal-Mart so I went with her and then came home and watched movies….Eli was working and Loreli was in bed…for whatever reason I wasn’t tired that night but it got me the rest of the weekend!

Saturday I got up and cleaned the house and let daddy sleep in because he got home extra late.  Loreli was up for a bit and then went back for a little nap…after she got up from her nap I have her a bath and when I was drying her off she got away from me and well I just couldn’t help but not take a picture….

I got her back and got her dressed…..she found her bunny ears and thought she needed to wear them while she ate a snack.

Daddy got up and we both got ready and decided to head to The Mills…Loreli need some cloths and also some new tennis shoes. We could tell Loreli was getting hungry so I told thought we should just go somewhere fast so we decided to go to Arby’s…it was yummy and well Loreli thought so too!

We decided to go through down town to see if we could see any of the air show and we did…it was pretty neat!...Just a few shots from the car while we were driving.

We got to The Mills and checked out the ice and then got down to business.

It was cold!

 I went to Carters and got 13 outfits for $75…I thought that was a pretty good deal and we got 2 pair of shoes for $30 for her. Then we went to Old Navy and everything was 40% off and if you donated something you got an extra 10%...so we ended up with 9 or 10 items for $50…that was a good deal too!....We stopped and got a few more pictures along the way!

On the way home I let her try out her new Juice Pal and it worked pretty good other than the fact the she loved to take the straw out of the juice box and put it back in…little stinker is smarter than I thought!....She did that till she crashed out!

When we were on our way back we got to see more the air show.

Eli could tell that the planes were landing at the airport in Cahokia so he thought we needed to check it out, plus we knew Loreli would stay sleeping! When we got back to town we headed over to Tim and Jenny’s to eat some yummy food and watch the race. Loreli was so cute playing with the girls. (I didn’t get any pictures because the camera was in the car and I didn’t feel like walking out there to get it, bad I know) It was a great night but I was ready for bed!

Sunday I got up with Loreli and we just chilled for the morning….Daddy slept in again. We decided to go to Tequila’s for their brunch and it was tasty like always! Then we headed to South County to watch the Cars 2 movie.

We thought we would give it a try with a 15 month old. It was pack but we found 2 seats next to each other….Loreli did great for the first half of the movie…she ate some popcorn and enjoyed herself but I could tell that she was about done so we went out into the lobby to play and let Daddy watch the rest of the movie. After the movie was over we let her play in the theater a bit….which she loves of course!

We then headed to Babies R Us to get a few things….while we were there we ran into the Blind’s, talked to them for a bit and then headed out! On the way home we got a text from Lynne to see if we wanted to go to Tequila’s for supper with some friends….we decided to…what the hell nothing like having Mexican for every meal…I love it so I was totally ok with it but Eli said we won’t be eating for a while then. HA!!!  We got to meet Adain for the first time…such a sweet little baby. Hard to believe that Loreli was that small at one time! That is the first time that I have held a baby since Loreli and she was little jealous….guess that means no babies for me! HAHA!!!! When we got home we all pretty much just crashed!

Monday we got up and got ready to go to the Car Show at the Ball Diamonds. Eli decided to put his jeep in it. We hung out next to Todd at the Weir’s Trailer.

We stayed for a few hours but it was hot and Loreli was getting sleepy…so we headed home for a nap, Mommy got one too!  We just hung out the rest of the day and then that night we headed over to the Ratz’s to watch the fireworks show. We didn’t know how Loreli would react so we thought we would give it a try. We weren’t surprised when they didn’t bother her and she loved them! The Ratz boys did a great job!

Yesterday we got up early because Loreli had her 15 month appointment she is doing great….she only gained a few ounces but grew an inch! Other than that it was a lazy day with some cleaning!

Confessions

I am looking for a nice relaxing weekend with my family...I think its the first weekend in months that we don't have anything! Guess I should get on with it....

I confess that my house is a mess but last night when I got home Loreli and I played and then both went to bed!

I confess that last Sunday I was so mad at Eli becasue he didn't come home from the diamonds saturday night  but then felt bad becasue he works hard for us so we have extra money.

I confess that I thought I was maybe pregnant by my mood swings and just kinda had the feeling but then...well mother nature called....Thank goodness not that I wouldn't love another baby but I am not ready by any means!

I confess that I really want to go to City Garden downtown but Eli doesn't want to be outside this weekend!

Well I think that is it...not much but its just one of those days!

Finally figured it out!

Well I finally figured out how to design a header with pictures!...Yes I know its been awhile but I have been so busy and I finally got some time....I know it needs some work but at least I have something!

These pictures are from Loreli's 12 month photo session....I can't believe it she is 15 months now!...I need to get new pictures! I am sure PaPa will come to my rescue!

What a weekend!

So I am giving a weekend update late…it was a crazy one to say the least! Friday we went to the picnic for a bit to eat and walk around and wait for GG and PaPa to get there so they could take Loreli home! We walked around and people watched for a bit, yes I know bad but Loreli loves it so I just go along with it. As we were people watching we ran in to Amanda and her boys. They just love her…it was so cute how they play with her! We also ran in to Sarah and Emily. Talked to them for a bit and then went to go meet GG and PaPa. WE walked to the car to get everything switched over and they were off for the weekend! I went out to the ball diamonds for a bit to watch Lynne and then we headed back to the picnic for a bit!

Saturday I got and decorated a cake and then I had to work at the ball diamonds pretty much all day and night. I took a break around 5ish to go to my cousins graduation party and to deliver the cake. Loreli was so cute playing with her cousins (of course I didn’t have my camera, UGH). I headed back to the ball diamonds to work some more…well later then what I thought. I was thinking I would head to the picnic for a bit but it got crazy busy at the diamonds so I couldn’t leave…o well. I think it would around 2:30AM when I left the ball diamonds…I got a call from Eli at 3AM to check the radar to see if there was gonna be more rain…I said no. Eli said he would be home in a bit….next thing I know I woke up and it was 7 in the morning and Eli was no where to be found…I called him and he never came home from the diamonds her worked on them all night! At the time I was so mad because he hadn’t slept in like 3 days worrying about this tournament and here he pulled an all nighter…ugh these diamonds are gonna be the death of me! So I brought him some new cloths and socks to get changed. I went back home and got ready because I had to work again. It was a bit slower of a day but that was ok because I was so tired from only getting about 4 hours of sleep! I got off around 2 went home and got ready and then picked Loreli up so we could go to the parade.

Grandma Tina, Aunt Sarah and the Grand Aunts were waiting for us and holding our spot. We got everything set up and the parade was starting. Loreli just loved because she could just watch and every once in awhile someone would stop and talk to her!

After that we headed to the picnic to eat and walk around again…and then I could tell it was getting close to bed time so I said lets just go! When we got home Daddy was already sleeping…I didn’t realize he was so I woke him up so he could see Loreli. They played for a bit and then I said let go get ready for bed and that’s what we did…it was a long weekend for all of us and we are all still recouping!

Hope everyone had a good weekend….not gonna lie I am hoping next year on this weekend we will be on vacation with the Aubuchon family and not at the ball diamonds!
